FYF Fest Adds Local Natives – Win Tickets!

FYF Fest announced the addition of Local Natives (one of Ice Cream Man's faves) to an already stellar lineup that includes The Rapture, Panda Bear, The Mountain Goats, Sleep, Ted Leo and tons more.
This is always a fun time, we'll be heading out and want you to too, so much that we're going to give you some tickets! Well, not all of you, but two lucky winners will grab a pair of tickets each. All you have to do is leave a comment on this post letting us know who you're most excited to see and why and we will pick two names at random to give a pair of tickets each away to. It's that simple. So give us your feedback and check back in tomorrow to see if we've picked your name!
Of course, if you don't win you can alway buy tickets. They're only $25! (Or $65 for the super awesome VIP package). The fest takes place Saturday, September 4 at Los Angeles State Historic Park.

been listening to them since I was a moody teen and now im a happy twentysomething and they are just as relevant and surprising.

Please oh please! I would LOVE to see The Blow. Also looking forward to shaking my booty to grooves by The Rapture.
Also, I rarely miss a chance to see Warpaint. They help remind me how much us female musicians can rock!

Probably the most excited to see the reunited Sleep. Can’t wait to hear their deep doomy, stoney dirges reverberate through downtown LA.
But also excited to see legends 7 Seconds and I recently overheard Best Coast in a record store and really like their dreamy, reverb drenched garage pop.
Overall, this event is a great bargain to catch up on great underground acts. Just hope it isn’t triple digits like last year.
Btw, Ice Cream Man, your default font size on this site is ridiculously small. Hard on my old guy eyes… 😉

Unbroken. They were a huge part of growing up among the straight edgers and skaters in Chula Vista. I missed their last reunion show.
Also heard Janeane Garafolo was added. She’s pretty amazing, too.

I am excited to see Best Coast, The Rapture, !!!, Wavves, the overall great lineup for LA, so excited cos im planning to go with my best friends and on missing work :] i’ve been following you on twitter ice cream man!
