Lollapalooza 2019 Lineup Announced

Late last night the press releases went out and Lollapalooza unveiled their 2019 lineup. There had been a lot of speculation and it seemed, like last year, that a lot of people had an idea who was going to be headlining. Since Lolla has two main stages AND a large dance tent they’re able to pack 90,000 people into Grant Park and have it not feel terribly crowded. At least that was what it was like last year and everyone seemed to have a great time.

After a disappointing lack of female headliners at Lollapalooza in 2018, we’re excited that Lolla has placed Ariana Grande at the top of the bill. The ‘big’ bands are Ariana Grande, Childish Gambino, 21 Pilots, and The Strokes. We’re also excited that the festival, returning Aug. 1 to 4 in Grant Park, features several exciting female artists near the top of the bill, including Janelle Monáe, Kacey Musgraves, H.E.R., and Maggie Rogers. Further down the list you’ll also find Lauren Daigle, Rosalía, Mitski, Hayley Kiyoko, Normani, Lennon Stella, Japanese Breakfast, Tierra Whack and Sharon Van Etten.

…and last but not least, also playing Lollapalooza this year: Shaquille O’Neal. You heard us right, that Shaquille O’Neal. The basketball legend is performing under his stage moniker, Diesel.
