I checked out the Bay Area band Weekend at the Casbah in San Diego during their latest tour. Super amazing trio with a heavy memorizing sound, flooding amounts of fog machine smoke, and extremely loud live show. The upcoming shows include their hometown crowd at Treasure Island Festival and BrooklynVegan’s CMJ Showcase on the 21st at Music Hall of Williamsburg.
Check out the interview with the band on my first podcast. Though I did interview Weekend outside the venue which happens to next to the SD airport and recordings of multiple planes landing took over. Silly interview on my part but great guys all around and well worth a viewing of their live shows.
