Tix for Capitol Hill Block Party go on sale tomorrow and it looks like most of the lineup is announced. We’ve had some crew members check it out in the past and I’ve always wanted to make it up but I’m often on the other side of the country.

What I like most about the festival is they always have a stacked lineup with tons of new artists. Sorta like Pitchfork Festival which is one of my favorites in the country. Not only that but they seem to focus more on ROCK bands which is really what you want to see outside in daylight in the middle of summer. Below are some of the bands and you can check out more and get tickets here.

We’ll let you know once it gets closer if we’ll be able to make it up to sling.

TV ON THE RADIO, EXPLOSIONS IN THE SKY, GHOSTLAND OBSERVATORY, THURSTON MOORE, THE CAVE SINGERS, BATTLES, RA RA RIOT, LES SAVY FAV, HANDSOME FURS, THE POSIES, KURT VILE AND THE VIOLATORS, YUCK, FUCKED UP, TELEKINESIS, CULTS, COLD CAVE, WOODS, FENCES, PINK MOUNTAINTOPS, MY GOODNESS, PAPERCUTS,

So many local Seattle acts, makes my head spin. Especially with the 206 hip hop: Mad Rad, Champagne Champagne, Grynch, Mash Hall… but SPURM is the must see!
