As I write this on the last day of 2005 it’s hard to believe all that went down. With very little planning and a lot of ambition and help, we’ve amassed over 10,000 photo’s and hundreds of reviews from all over the country. Lots of them involved ice cream and even more were pics of bands we happen to be diggin’ on at the time. On the right are some of my favorite pics from the year. You can click on the middle menu bar on the homepage to track down the accompanying reviews.

Outside of Bessy breaking down numerous times I can’t really think of much else I would’ve changed. When one event didn’t work out another would fill the void. We did a pretty good job of accomplishing my goal of covering the west coast this year. Somehow I talked Mark, The Cobra Snake, into driving in an ice cream truck from LA to Washington and back. After that I headed south to San Diego for Street Scene then out to sea for Xingolati. Halloween brought Vegoose then a trip even further east to check out the Ice Cream Vendors Convention. Tonight we’re capping things off by slinging some cream at the Little Radio New Year’s Eve party downtown.

He’re a rough list that I’ll probably add more to as it comes to me. Nothing is set in stone either.

That top pic by Charles is my favorite Rock ‘n Roll pic of the year.

Jay’s Gallery on the Coachella Review offered up shot’s uncommon to most festival photography. He did pay the price lugging around the tripod all day though.
