For the last three years during South by Southwest we've distributed Off the Wookie magazines to over 15,000 people in Austin, Texas. This year, we're gearing up for our fourth installment. This year's issue will feature a cover story on the film Dazed and Confused and keep the theme "Super Fun Happy Motivate Manual for Joy Making" (as quoted by crew member Jeremiah). Articles were contributed by Ice Cream Crew members, volunteers and friends from around the country, and include inspiring stories, tales of the absurd and DIY guides to pretty much anything. We've printed around 5,000 Wookies and will be putting copies directly into people's hands while giving away free ice cream throughout the festival.
We're also looking for sponsors for our time in Austin. If you'd like to help us give away thousands of ice creams and get access and exposure all over Austin and at numerous parties check out our Austin Sponsor Deck.
